VinUp is a lead generation service for auto dealerships which helps facilitate the sale or trade-in of their customers vehicle. Dealers are immediately alerted to each vehicle’s latest Kelley Blue Book or Black Book value when they come in for service, enabling better resale opportunities with their service customers.
Service valets at dealerships are equipped with VinUp portable scanners and printers, handing the vehicle owner a printed ticket as they exit their vehicle. The ticket displays the latest value of their vehicle, and dealers have the option of offering incentives to that customer to take a few minutes to discuss the sale of that car.
The program puts customers first by avoiding aggressive sales tactics while customers are waiting to have their vehicle serviced. VinUp recognizes that giving customers the option of discussing a sale or trade-in on their own terms is more indicative of a positive retail experience, and will ultimately lead to brand retention.
